Included in the exhibition Rational Objects for Irrational Thoughts, this resting element utilizes a non-traditional material landscape of transparent and opaque materials to create an inclusive kneeling stool that encourages the development and satisfies the yearning for shared expression. The sturdy stone base represents the trust that can be developed through communal experiences, whereas the delicate swept surfaces remind us to be aware of the fragility of certain superstitious practices.
